KRISTIN CAST & PC CAST with AMBER SMOKE and the House of Night series
Inkwood Books, Thursday, June 11 at 7pm
Kristin Cast & PC Cast are here with Kristin's new adult paranormal novel Amber Smoke, the first in a new series! Thursday, June 11 7 PM Meet authors Kristin and PC Cast here at Inkwood! You must purchase a copy of Amber Smoke from Inkwood Books in order to enter the signing line. If you already own the House of Night novels, you may bring those to have signed in addition to Amber Smoke. Thank you for your cooperation, and for supporting a local indie bookstore! About Amber Smoke: There is a world that runs parallel to our own, a world in which the souls of the damned are caged, where they are looked over by the Furies, and where they spend eternity in torment, mirroring the devastation and mayhem they created when alive. Someone has opened the cage. The worst of terrors has crossed the barrier that separates our world from theirs, and the Furies send a great, albeit untested warrior—their only son, Alek—to try to bring those souls back. He is young and handsome, headstrong and impulsive, and he won’t be able to do it alone. Eva has grown up, beautiful and beloved, but surrounded by secrets. First, she will be Hunted in an ancient feud that will threaten her life. Then, she will become the hunter. With the police closing in and two worlds on the verge of crumbling around them, Alek and Eva must find each other, discover the limits of their powers, and work together to save everything they hold dear, including one another. Blending elements of mythology with the dazzling storytelling that her fans have devoured through the House of Night series, Kristin Cast weaves a spellbinding and passionate tale that starts a thrilling new series with an explosive charge.

Short biography
Phyllis Christine Cast was born on 30 April 1960 in Watseka, Illinois, USA, and grew up being shuttled back-and-forth between Illinois and Oklahoma, which is where she fell in love with Quarter Horses and mythology (at about the same time). After high school she joined the United States Air Force and began public speaking and writing. After her tour in the USAF, she taught high school for 15 years before retiring to write full time. She has been married and divorced three times. She lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her fabulous daughter, Kristin Cast, her spoiled cat, her adorable Scotties, and a bunch of not totally normal horses!

Published since 2001, P. C. Cast also collabored with her daughter since 2007. She is a New York Times Best-Selling author and a member of the Oklahoma Writers Hall of Fame. Her novels have been awarded the prestigious: Oklahoma Book Award, YALSA Quick Pick for Reluctant Readers, Romantic Times Reviewers Choice Award, the Prism, Holt Medallion, Daphne du Maurier, Booksellers Best, and the Laurel Wreath.
