May’s guests will be Yvette Walker, Tom Doig, Naomi Armstrong and Kate Belle.
Yvette Walker was born in 1970 in Melbourne. Letters to the End of Love, her first novel, evolved out of a short story called ‘Dear Reader’, which won the 2003 HQ National Short Story Competition.
Tom Doig is a writer, performer, editor and moron. He was was born and raised in Wellington, New Zealand. In 2001 he moved to Melbourne ‘for a year’ and never left. Moron to Moron: Two Men, Two Bikes, One Mongolian Misadventure is Tom’s first book.
Naomi Sarah Armstrong (19) lives in urban Melbourne. Currently in the second year of her degree at the University of Melbourne, she is majoring in English literary studies and completing a diploma in Japanese. When she isn’t reading or writing, her days are filled with music and epicurean adventures.
Kate is a woman of many passions. She holds a tertiary qualification in chemistry, half a diploma in naturopathy and a diploma in psychological astrology. Her debut novel is The Yearning (Simon & Schuster). (rodneyvc)
