Children can make Pinecone Birdfeeders. Lessons on Gift Wrapping and other activities. Downtown Holiday Events North Pole Stroll-Dec. 5 The City of Brunswick's annual Tree Lighting will begin at 6:30PM followed by a Children's Holiday Party at the Railroad Museum from 7-8:30PM. Hometown Holidays- Dec. 13 Begin the day with" Breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus" at the Brunswick Volunteer Ambulance Co. from 8AM til 1PM. Following, there will be musical performances and children's crafts and activities in various downtown locations. A German organ grinder will entertain from 2 - 4PM and the Railroad Museum will be open from 12 - 5PM for free candlelight tours and activities for children.In the afternoon , there will be marshmallow roasting and freshly roasted chestnuts. During the evening hours, there will be horse drawn sleigh rides sponsored by the City of Brunswick. Tickets cost $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for children. The ticket price includes hot chocolate and a photo with Santa.
