The structure of this book is written in a descriptive and sequential format. The text is simply written and easy for elementary students to understand. The illustrations add depth to the meaning of the text and help support the reader’s comprehension of the topic. "Without math, sports would not exist" is the motto of this book, and the author proves us so! The book uses number problems to encourage readers to help find solutions with sports, cooking, and shopping. Middle schoolers would love this book!

The vocabulary is somewhat academic English, so students can be exposed to the word selection when they read it.… (more)
