The first installment in The Great Undead War, described by Publishers Weekly as “an audacious mix of military fiction, steampunk, and zombies,” is the tale of Burke’s Marauders, an intrepid band of heroes fighting undead Nazis to rescue an Allied pilot during World War I. For fans of Eyes to See, Joe may also offer hints of what’s to come in the Hunt Chronicles, with a new installment, King of the Dead, due this fall.

He is a former president of the Horror Writers Association, the world’s largest organization of professional horror writers, a two time Bram Stoker Award and International Horror Guild Award nominee, and a life and creativity coach.
