Jess Haines and Jillian Stone will discuss romance and mystery at our first event of the afternoon. Jess’ website describes her as an “author of urban fantasy and paranormal romance, a displaced New Yorker who writes about vampires, werewolves, and other bitey creatures of the night.” Stalking the Others is the fourth in her H&W Investigations urban fantasy series about human PI Shiarra Waynest and the supernatural creatures she interacts with in an alternate New York. Jillian is the author of two romantic suspense series, and her latest titles are A Dangerous Liaison with Detective Lewis and The Moonstone and Miss Jones. The Gentlemen of Scotland Yard books are set in the institution’s early days in the late 19th Century.
