I loved this inquiry into the creative process because it's full of insight, information, inspiration and provocation to dig deeper into your creative process. The stories and anecdotes serve as a celebration of the role of creativity in all of our lives and as a deeper understanding into how some individuals foster an accelerated creative connection. I like how the author draws from many disciplines, including the traditional arts, forms of expression we don't always think of as arts (like cooking.) and also sectors like charitable work. education and politics.

Some of the information is intellectually exciting (like case studies about notable creatives and innovative applications of creativity, and a conversation about nature vs. nurture) and other parts create direct takeaways (like curating a creative homebase for your work.) The discussions about technology, contemporary innovation and what creativity will look like in the near future were eye-opening and catalyzing. The author makes a clear case for creative fluidity being the imperative of our times. This is a rich work that is deeply inspiring while being both accessible and provocative. Highly recommend it to reinvigorate your commitment to living with optimal creative output and an innovative point-of-view.
