Unfortunately, this book didn't work for me. I couldn't connect with any of the characters and I felt that Crystal was very inconsistent. She's a naive virgin one minute and a complete wanton the next. Soren acted too caveman-like for me. I thought the plot was silly too.

This was a cute romance. I enjoyed how Lyssa discovered her sexuality after the emotional abuse she suffered from her marriage. I thought Robert was the perfect partner for her.

This was one hot read. It was also a refreshing read as the heroine was a divorced mother of a daughter about to head off to college. After being married to a man that verbally abused her most of the marriage and killing her self esteem, her best friend talks her into going to a "costume party". Once inside Lyssa Markham realizes this is no ordinary party. It turns out its a sex club party. Left alone and in total shock and fascination of what is going on around her she is approached by many men. As this turns her on she continually says no until she sees a sexy gladiator. She cant help herself and starts to dance for him striping all of her veils along the way until she is naked and and need to come. The gladiator then in turns gives her the best orgasm she has ever had in her life. As she comes down she realizes they had just put on a show for everyone at the party and runs out in embarrassment.

Days later she finds out her ex does not have his portion of the schools tuition for there daughter and he is unreachable as he is on his honeymoon. So Lyssa storms off to his lawyers office to get it straighten out. When the main lawyer who handles the account is in court she is taken to the office of one of the partners. As he turns around she gets the shock of her life when it turns out to be her gladiator who's name is Robert Savidge. His first words to her are “Lift up your skirt…"

This book wasnt just about sex. It had a good plot, main and secondary characters. My only complaint with books of this length is the ending. They are always a little rushed. Regardless of that I loved the book. Cant wait to read the next one.

Soren Thorvald is a quite bar-owner who doesn't really have much to do with women due to his mother leaving him and his brothers when they were young. He is signed up to be a participant in the Take a Bachelor to Dinner Auction for charity something he really doesn't want to do. At the auction after woman that won him looks like she is trying to get away by crawling under the table Soren grabs her and hauls her over her shoulder out of the ballroom.

Crystal D’Angelo is a 30 year old virgin who has been holding out for "The One" Her grandmother gave her a talisman when she was younger and told her that it would tell he when she met "The One". When she see's Soren up on the stage she realizes its him.

These two have alot of issues to work through.. Soren almost had no relationship skills and has no idea how to be with a woman and ends up running alot from Crystal. This of course confuses Chystal since she to doesn't have alot of experience in relationships.

There is also a side plot of someone stalking Crystal (she never knows about it) that gets kinds ugly at the end but never fear Soren and Magnus to the rescue.

I really liked this book. Cant decide if I like this one or the first book the best...
