Mark Bastable is an English writer with an American wife, a transatlantic outlook and an Italian wine habit. He lives on the leafy edge of South London – with two daughters at home, and an adult son not far away – and he works in the city, or wherever else he’s needed.
The Penny Falls is his third novel – the previous two having been published in the UK in the nineties. Mark is also a prolific writer of short stories, many of which have appeared in print magazines and on-line. Expect anthologies to be made available during 2013.
Mark is an active member of Backspace, and has appeared as a faculty member at Backspace’s New York conventions.
