Charles de Beaumont had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1950 British Empire Games Épée Individual, 1st in the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games Épée Team (with René Paul and Allan Jay), 2nd in the 1950 British Empire Games Épée Team (with René Paul and Bob Anderson). De Beaumont also competed in the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games épée individual. In the British Empire (and Commonwealth) Games he competed for England.
