So far I am really loving this book. It keeps me laughing but at the same time it keeps me on the edge of my seat and jumping out of my skin at every sound. lmbo Yeah I love when a book can do this. Hope there is more from this author.

Within Reach by Jill Bisker

Emma is accepting and facing her mother’s dementia. Everyday day becomes a challenge for Emma and her Mother. Emma finds herself reminiscing of her past and the time spent with her Mother before her Dementia.

Emma soon wonders if her own sanity is slipping. She feels the need to understand her visions (from her past). It Seems only her Mother can help her, but will she be able to with her deteriorating mind.

A fascinating and touching story of a daughters love for her ailing mother. Emma is faced with struggles as well as her Mother. The time she spends with her (mother) seem to put her back in time, days of her youth.

I really enjoyed this short story. Anyone who has ever loved someone who has Dementia/Alzheimer's and other diseases that affect the mind, will (probably) relate to this story. I know I did. A true five star read, I suggest Within Reach to readers (of all genres).

Finding the Way Back by Jill Bisker

Recently divorced Laney decides to help her Mother fix up her dead grandfathers house. The first night there she hears music and soon discovers a ghost lives there. With the help of ghost hunter, Emmett and her cousin Connie she begins to discover some family secrets.

I liked Laney, just divorced and trying to make a new (happy) life for herself. Connie is likable as well. Although (She has an) opposite personality from Laney they get along well. Then Emmett, he is very likable. He's a "ghost hunter" (a unique quirky job), who wouldn't like someone like him!

A well written story. There are a lot of spooky ghostly happenings, and sightings, family secrets surface, plot twists and turns. The dialog and vivid details bring the story to life. There is family bonding and many "I didn't see that coming" moments. Overall I really enjoyed Finding the Way Back and feel that those who love a great ghost story will enjoy it as well.
