Michelle Blake has published poetry and essays in Ploughshares, Southern Review, Seneca Review, MORE Magazine, The New York Times, Solstice and a number of other publications. She is also the author of three novels—The Tentmaker, Earth has no sorrow and The Book of Light. Her chapbook of poems, Into the Wide and Startling World, was issued in 2012 by Finishing Line Press. Blake has taught writing at Tufts University, Stanford University, Warren Wilson College and Goddard College.
Poet, translator, and editor Peter Covino is Associate Professor of English and Creative Writing at the University of Rhode Island. He is the winner of the 2007 PEN American/Osterweil Award for emerging poets and also the author of The Right Place to Jump, Cut Off the Ears of Winter and the chapbook Straight Boyfriend, winner of the Frank O’Hara Poetry Prize. His co-edited volume, Essays on Italian American Literature and Culture recently appeared from Bordighera Press
D. Nurkse is the author of ten books of poetry, most recently A Night in Brooklyn, Knopf 2012. In 2011, he was shortlisted for the Forward Prize, for best poetry book published in the UK.
