Rosemarie Boll has been practicing family law for over twenty years. She has written extensively on the legal system and how it affects families. She is committed to educating the public about the complex network of laws which govern our everyday lives, and explaining what the justice system can and cannot do. She has published over sixty columns, articles, and book reviews for LawNow magazine.
Rosemarie interrupted her legal career to work at a Swiss international boarding school for five years. Situated in an alpine ski village, the Leysin American School is a close-knit community of 370 students from over fifty countries. She and her family shared their lives with teens from every major religion and language group in the world. Her students taught her about the ideas, values, and histories that made their cultural group unique. She travelled extensively throughout Europe, and into Russia, South-East Asia, Africa, and central America. While in Switzerland, Rosemarie completed her first novel, The Second Trial.
Rosemarie currently practices with the Family Law Office of Legal Aid Alberta and lives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
