Short biography
Cindy Bouchard (1968- ) was born in Creston, British Columbia and moved with her family to Southern Alberta in the early seventies. After she married she returned to the province of her birth where she grew interested in the history of Northern British Columbia, particularly the era directly preceding the Great War during the construction of the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway and its affect on the towns of Prince Rupert, Prince George and Hazelton. The Princes of the North series is a seven book series detailing the years 1909-1915 in the lives of the Hamilton family, two brothers and two sisters, and their trials and triumphs as they grow to maturity and find love in that province's rough and wild early days.
