I began my adult career path in radio. I worked in sales and hosted my own show at each station. I then segued into the newspaper business where I began as a sports writer and worked my way up to reporter. I then went back to radio. I enjoyed every minute I spent in these positions. Later, I moved into a tourism position in Oklahoma. Lastly, I worked for a government contractor in San Antonio, Texas.
My first book was literally written in a little under one week. The story-line had been in my head for some time. So, I woke up one morning and sat down at my Mac and wrote the book. Before I knew it, it was published. I then began work on my second book which was published, ironically, on my grandfather's birthday in 2009. I find it somewhat ironic, but wonderful, because even though he had been deceased for one year, he was one of my biggest fans.
I am now working on a third book and fourth book in the Marshal Zane Clemmons series, simultaneously. It is a difficult undertaking, but one I find rather invigorating.
What else comes my way between now and the time that my next book is published, I consider a blessing.
