EVENT DETAILS Event ticket (admits two) is free when you purchase Bad Kitty: School Daze from Changing Hands Bookstore. Letter groups (printed on top of ticket) will be called at 6pm to fill seats and designated standing room. If available, seating and standing room opens to those without tickets at 6:45pm. Space cannot be guaranteed for late arrivals. Booksigning line forms by assigned letter group after the presentation. Those without tickets may get their books signed after ticket-holders, if time allows. Event details may be subject to unannounced changes.

Author and cartoonist Nick Bruel will be at Oblong in Rhinebeck to talk about his latest book, Bad Kitty School Daze, and answer such questions as "Is Esmerelda - the Bruel family cat - the real Bad Kitty?", and other equally important information that readers simply need to know!

A former bookseller, Nick used his quirky sense of humor and cartooning skills to get out from behind the bookstore counter and onto the shelves. But Nick was a born writer. When he was in first grade, he loved nothing more than to write stories and make drawings to go along with them, which he still does to this day. Nick lives with his wife Carina, daughter Isabel, and cat Esmerelda in Tarrytown, New York. During his down time, he collects PEZ dispensers and grows tomatoes in the backyard.
