Born in Dublin, Ireland, Evelyn grew up in Chicago, Illinois. She currently resides in East Texas with her husband and Old English Sheepdog, Bridie. She loves reading paranormal romances and with her extensive travels back to Ireland, her writing instinctively gravitated toward Irish mythology.
“Most writers portrayed the Tuatha Dé Danann either as tricksters or deadly fae (fairies). I decided to bring them into the same light as some of my favorite authors did with vampires and wares. So now, we have vamps, wares, and fae all living in our neighborhoods and don’t even know it,” says Byrne.
Evelyn writes a series called the Daughter of Prophecy. Book one, “Unknown Magic” was release June 2010, “Stolen Magic”, the second in the series, has a release date of December 14th, and Evelyn is currently hard at work on the third book, “Lost Magic”. Her books received 1st and 3rd place awards.
