Author and journalist Leslie Carroll will present her new non-fiction book Notorious Royal Marriages: A Juicy Journey through Nine Centuries of Dynasty, Destiny, and Desire. The follow-up to last year’s Royal Affairs, Carroll’s new book chronicles the marriages of the crowned heads of Europe, from the Tudors’ Henry VIII & Ann Boleyn to Charles & Diana, and ponders how dynasties, with their majesties’ variant behavior, ever survived. An impeccably researched, historically rich comedy of errors, Carroll brings to life the good, bad and ugly particulars of life inside royal unions from the 12th century to the present. A Theatre major at Cornell University, Leslie Carroll is an actor, author, journalist, and editor. She has written for Jane Austen Regency World magazine and has published several books of contemporary fiction including the romantic comedy Miss Match.
