One of ten children, John went to work at an early age to help his struggling parents. At the age of 14 he began writing in little cracks of time creating over 300 poems, a song recorded by singer/entertainer Charlie Roth in 1999 and won various writing contests breaking into national print with his poem Painting In Thread in the Mother's Day Ideals Book in 2005 leading to his first published novel, Ramblin' Rose and The Internet Newsletter in April of 2006. With his wife and co-author Marlene Rose Carson, the couple now have six books in world wide distribution with more in the works. Parents and Grandparents they live in New Market, Alabama.
