This reminds of [b:Claimed|10439221|Claimed (Brides of the Kindred, #1)|Evangeline Anderson|http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51JzZ8ibarL._SL75_.jpg|15343817] a lot. Both having to do with alien men (from a planet with not enough females) coming to Earth for mates. Both books have an agreement between planets about how this is done that is remarkably similar. This one was way beter, I couldn't finish Claimed. The heroine got on my last nerve. I had to put the book down. I'll be looking for more from Marly Chance.… (more)

As the song says, “Wishing, and hoping and praying”

Craven’s Downfall by Stephanie Burke
Nola is only a very few hours away from becoming Gregor’s new wife. She is despondent because he is a great friend but does not turn her on sexually. She sits on a hill near the “fairy ring” and wishes for a more exciting life that would include travel and to experience a true passion.

Craven a tall fairy with long flowing black hair who is into leather and nipple bars. As the Lord of Carnality, Master of Fleshly Desires, Price of Pleasurable Pain, and Dark Master of Desire, he finds he is fed up with the same old, same old boring sexual exploits. He needs something new and exciting. He overhears the human, Nola and her wishful longings and decides to grant her wishes.

If passion is what Nola wants, then passion is what Nola gets. Craven delights in giving Nola what she wants. But when Oberon and Titania (the rulers of Tier Na Nog) insist that Craven return Nola to her home, he begins to understand he can not let her go. Nola on the other hand, learns that passion without love is very unsatisfying.

The sparks fly with the steamy sex and readers will enjoy the wonderful story’s conclusion for the two passionate lovers.

A Wish Away by Marly Chance
With years of bad luck birthdays, Tiffany wants this birthday to be free of all mishaps or disasters. Not having a great time with romance either, she has started fantasizing about her best friend Zak in a very sexual way. During lunch with her best friend Polly, she makes her birthday wish for Zak to see her as a sexual woman and she also wishes for some excitement in her life.

Someone up there hears her plea and within hours, Tiffany discovers Zak is an alien from another plant who is hiding from a murderer that Zak could identify and has the hots for her. Sounds unbelievable, but then she finds out Polly is an operative for the Covert Coalition, a secret government agency that observes other planets. On the run from the murderer, Tiffany and Zak end up in a very strange motel with erotic furnishings and lewd holographic images. Tiffany gets her birthday wish and more.

Lusty sex in a very amusing tale.

Serendipity by Joanna Wylde
A sweet innocent three-year-old Mali makes a wish for a new daddy that would not abuse her family. Her mother Sarai runs a hostel and is determined not to remarry and expose her children to another controlling husband and is stubbornly sticking to her plan to become a strong, independent woman. Her son wants to protect his mother from all men.

Staying at the hostel is a space soldier, Jax who is perfect for Sarai because he is everything that she needs and wants. A gentle, caring, patient man...he loves children and supports Sarai in her search for independence. They are sexually attracted to each other and finally explore this temptation.

The writer weaves a wonderful legend for Jax to tell her family about his religion and the Goddess who bestows on woman the importance that they hold in his culture. Trying to persuade her that she is his true lifemate by his planet’s standards, he explains the equal status that woman hold with men.

Jax finally wins over Sarai that they were made for each other and the whole family begins a new life together.

The three writers have created stories that arouse, excite and satisfy the desire for wishes to come true. I look forward to the next collection of tales.

A fun read, but not as engaging as her first, Oath of Seduction.
