Art Chilver

This is the book that started me on my love of books that never say " open package of .... "
It has an incredible range of recipes in it, much more then one would expect from the title. Yes it has bannock and beans in it but it also has Lobster Newburg, Wild Duck A La Orange, and many preserves and jellies.
granted this book isn't something to use if you are on a low sodium, or reduced fat diet. but other then that it's pretty good.
