Water Cooler Diaries
On May 27, 2007, over 500 women across the country kept an on-the-job day diary chronicling their activities, thoughts, and feelings. The editors collated and edited the submissions and the result is Water Cooler Diaries: Women Across America Share Their Day at Work, a compulsively readable collection, featuring thirty-five full-day accounts and dozens of excerpts and highlights. This is the third in their This Day series, and contains high drama along with laugh-out-loud moments. The variety of contributors—race car driver, mine geologist, high school math teacher, life coach, stay-at-home mom, to name a few—is fascinating and eye-opening.
