Ruby’s story, full of perseverance and hope, is as relevant today as it was in the Sixties. If you’re interested in learning more about this extraordinary six-year-old who helped shape American history, read the picture book The Story of Ruby Bridges, written by Robert Coles. It captures the courage of the little girl who stood alone in the face of racism.
