Michael G. Coney (1932–2005)

Michael Coney grew up in England and emigrated to Canada in the early seventies, after a brief stop to manage a hotel in Antigua.  Along with his writing career, he has had several jobs, most of which either entailed pushing numbers into order or pushing drinks across a bar.  He now does both only informally, and when not writing, spend his time trying to re-create a line of the Great Western Railway in his basement.  [from Crime Through Time II (1998)]
