Helene Calista Cooper is a Pulitzer Prize-winning national security correspondent for the New York Times , having previously served as a White House correspondent, diplomatic correspondent, and assistant editorial page editor. Prior to joining the Times, she spent twelve years at the Wall Street Journal as a reporter and foreign correspondent. In 2015 she won the Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Reporting, an Overseas Press Club award of International Reporting, and a George Polk Award for Health Reporting, all three for her coverage of the Ebola crisis.
