Susan Crosby

A nice little pretend husband story. Pretty straight forward. Not as amusing as some of these types of stories as the author takes a more serious tack dealing with life issues both the hero and the heroine have. Well written and fast moving.

The Forbidden Twin: The Elliotts (Silhouette Desire) by Susan Crosby

I am not usually interested in reading story-lines where the sibling has a relationship with the ex but to be honest I started reading it and didn't realise this was the premise.
It helps that the original sister and the ex have not had sex so it doesn't feel ew.
A good story, a tender hearted hero.

At Long Last, A Bride (Silhouette Special Edition) by Susan Crosby

The book was long winded okay we knew they would end up together obviously it's a harlequin but even the ending felt rushed like she had built it up soooo much and had to end somehow.. totally fell flat for me especially after [b:The Pregnant Bride Wore White|6653385|The Pregnant Bride Wore White|Susan Crosby|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1277101995s/6653385.jpg|6847982] and [b:Love and the Single Dad|7235509|Love and the Single Dad|Susan Crosby|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1348282445s/7235509.jpg|8134728] but I want to read Shana's story already bought it [b:Almost a Christmas Bride|12165916|Almost a Christmas Bride|Susan Crosby|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1348527241s/12165916.jpg|17137113] and [b:Husband for Hire|10575751|Husband for Hire|Susan Crosby|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1348438038s/10575751.jpg|15482809] with Dixie's siblings which I thought was added on randomly but I can roll with it!

This all started with me reading [b:The Single Dad's Virgin Wife|4507882|The Single Dad's Virgin Wife|Susan Crosby|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1266772456s/4507882.jpg|4556911] and spiralled out of there now I own all the books from the "Wives For Hire series" and "McCoys of Chance City" which is saying a lot seeing as my brain feels like mush from all the category romance but I guess with the drama of life the ridiculousness of these wash all that away!… (more)
