Exhibition, on until the end of February 2015, in the continuing series on Welsh authors, looking at women authors for children, and authors from the Valleys. Free admission.
The women authors featured are Winnie Parry (1870-1953); Elizabeth Mary Owen ('Moelona', 1887-1953), author of Teulu bach Nantoer; Elizabeth Watkin Jones (1887-1966); Jennie Thomas (1898-1979), author of Wil Cwac Cwac; Mary Vaughan Jones (1918-1983), creator of Sali Mali; and Emily Huws (1943-), author and recently translator of Y bachgen mewn pyjamas.
The Valleys authors featured are Jack Jones (1884-1970), author of Off to Philadelphia in the morning; Glyn Jones (1905-1995), author of The dragon has two tongues; Rhys Davies (1901-1978), author of The chosen one; and Idris Davies (1905-1953), poet. (Cynfelyn)
