Diesel, A Bookstore in Malibu welcomes author Drew Daywalt to the store to discuss and sign his book, The Day the Crayons Quit, on Sunday, December 15th at 3pm.
You probably don't realize it, but crayons have feelings too. In a bundle of letters to little Duncan, they make their grievances known: Purple is frustrated by messiness, Beige wants to color more than just wheat, and Blue is just plain tired. Now the day has come for them to take a stand, The Day the Crayons Quit!
Drew Daywalt is an award-winning writer/director of film and TV, his work having been featured on Disney, MTV, FEARnet, and Syfy. He lives in Southern California with his wife and their two children. His favorite crayon is black, although he makes sure to use all the crayons so that they never quit.
