The author includes sketches of literally all of the women of the Bible. The first section includes prominent women such as Eve, Rebekah, and Mary Magdalene; the second includes all other named women, and the third and last section includes all of the unnamed women such the “wise-hearted women”. The author wrote with one purpose “to try to understand and interpret their spiritual experiences, their faith and their relationship with God.”
