My husband Ken and I are educators by profession; we are now enjoying working with people of all ages on local community service projects in the Omaha area. Along with about 50 others we helped start the Dundee Community Garden; we volunteer for the Adopt a Park/Adopt a Stream program, and we're both active in our church's Earth Stewardship program. We belong to a number of green organizations, including: Heron Haven, Fontenelle Forest Nature Association, and the local chapter of the Sierra Club.
