Joy started writing as a child. Before she could read, the words on the pages of her books fascinated her and she dreamed of putting her own down on paper someday. In the meantime, she traced the ones from her story books and taped them together pretending she was an author. Poetry capture Joy's heart at a young age as well. When her heart filled up with words, she expressed them in poetry form. After a discouraging comment, Joy destroyed all her poems. She misses those words - they have never returned to her. Today she writes poetry, articles, and has five books in publication; a novel, devotional, and three children's books. She's working on some business non-fiction and a new novel series. She's also passionate about helping others write what matters most to them.
