Beautifully written in verse from the perspectives of 5 different family members this tells of the families time in the war in Laos, to refugee camps in Thailand, to finally coming to the U.S.. The great changes needed for this family are not easy on any of them. The adults perspective is heartbreaking and rough. But such a good read!
