On Friday, April 19, 2013, Avid is happy to host a book signing event for Raiders!: The Story of the Greatest Fan Film Ever Made. Come meet Chris Stromplos (the Indiana Jones from the movie) as he is co-author of this awesome book!

On Saturday, April 20, 2013, there are 2 screenings at Ciné. Avid Bookshop will be selling books at Ciné on Saturday before and after the 2pm and before the 5pm screening.

IMPORTANT: If you are planning on buying a BOOK and getting into the show on the special book rate on Saturday, you *must* go to this link and click on the "Book Ticket" either for the 2pm or 5pm show. All children under 18 are free. The Book Ticket is good for 1 adult, not a "family admission" as previously announced. Sorry about that folks.

The Trylon microcinema and Moon Palace Books present a special screening of Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Adaptation at 7pm on Thursday, February 7th at the Riverview Theater.

Chris Strompolos, co-creater of the film, will be attending the screening in person and the new book Raiders! The Story of the Greatest Fan Film Ever Made by Alan Eisenstock will be available for purchase.

In 1982, best friends Chris Strompolos, 10, and Eric Zala, 11, shared a vision to remake Raiders of the Lost Ark shot-for-shot. using the resources around them. Seven years later, after almost burning down a house and nearly killing Eric, their film became what's been called “The greatest fan film of all time” and has recieved an enormous positive response from all over the world.

Advance tickets are available here and copies of the book Raiders! are available for pre-order to be picked up at the screening. If you can't make the screening and wanted a copy signed by Chris Strompolis let us know. We can ship one to you or hold it at Moon Palace Books for pick-up.
