Elisabet "Lisa" Eurén-Berner was born, raised, and married in Luleå, Sweden. Later she divorced and moved with her second husband to Stockholm. There she began writing short stories and novels, some of which were serialized in newspapers. She is best known for a series of books for girls featuing Miss Sprakfåle.
