Mr. Fitzwater discussed his recent book, Call the Briefing! Bush and Reagan, Sam and Helen: A Decade with Presidents and the Press, published by Times Books. He reminisced about his years in the White House press office in his service as press secretary to both Presidents Reagan and Bush from 1983 to 1993 and his relationships with members of the press.
