Not to be confused with his son Horace Howard Furness Jr (1865-1930) who towards the end of his father's life co-edited several of the later Variorum Shakespeares (e.g., Richard III and Cymbeline) and after his death continued the series, editing Julius Caesar, Coriolanus, King John, and revised editions of MErchant of Venice and Macbeth.
