Short biography
Nathan Gallizier wrote historical romances that often portrayed Italians luridly as a treacherous people involved in intrigue and murder. In many of these, the hero is German or of German ancestry, struggling honorably against wicked Italians who constantly use such evil means as
poisons, black magic, assassins, secret doors, ex-nuns and villanous
priests to achieve their ends.
