Mordicai Gerstein

Caldecott-winning children's author and illustrator Mordicai Gerstein presents his newest offering, called A Book. It's all about a tiny family living in a book, and features Mordicai Gerstein's unusual and fascinating llustrations.

Award-winning children's author and illustrator Mordicai Gerstein will be signing books at the Little Book House! He is best known for his book The Man Who Walked Between the Towers, which he both wrote and illustrated and for which he received the Caldecott Award in 2004. You can find more information ... Mordicai Gerstein’s books have received considerable recognition. He was awarded the 2004 Caldecott Medal recognizing The Man Who Walked Between The Towers as the most distinguished American picture book for children.

The lecture honors the late Zena Sutherland, Professor Emeritus and retired editor of the “Bulletin of the Center of Children’s Books.”
