A $2 find at a junk store has turned into a minor gem.
The collapse into mutiny and revolution of the High Seas Fleet at the end of WW1 is a matter of record. This book (1932) records the sad story in journalistic style. The authors widely referenced German and English language publication and interviewed some of the participants.
Presented as short chapters, brief paragraphs and staccato sentences, the story is told in an exciting, yet comprehensive manner.
This is not a detailed historians account, but a by the moment record of events. The background is given in sufficient detail, but there is no analysis.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.
