Gillian C. Gill, a specialist in modern fiction and feminist theory, has taught at Northeastern University, Wellesley, Harvard, and Yale, where she was a fellow of Jonathan Edwards College and director of the Women's Studies Program. In addition to being a biographer, Gill is the translator of much of Luce Irigaray's work (French into English).
