Jack is a retired American Baptist Churches USA clergy, having served as pastor, clinical chaplain/educator, director of ABC chaplaincy services, hospital department director, and author of two books and 30+ articles in spiritual care, faith development, pastoral research, and evidence based spiritual care best practices; grant recipient for clergy support and renewal; office holder in Missouri Chaplains Association, Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, Endorsers Council for Veterans Affairs Chaplaincy, Congress on Ministry in Specialized Settings; editor of ABCUSA chaplaincy magazine and Ideal Intervention Project e-Newsletter. Husband of Marie, father of two and grandfather of four.
