D.B. Grady is the coauthor of The Command: Deep Inside the President's Secret Army. His debut novel, Red Planet Noir, won the 2010 Indie Book Award for Science Fiction. He is a columnist for The Week, a correspondent for The Atlantic, and is presently coauthoring a book on the secrecy apparatus of the United States. (John Wiley & Sons, 2012). Other publications include short stories and essays. 

Grady is a graduate of Louisiana State University, a former U.S. Army paratrooper, and a veteran of Afghanistan. He is a member of the Authors Guild and represented by Janet Reid of FinePrint Literary Management. 

He lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with his wife and family.
