Go to http://www.littleblogofstories.com/20... for additional event information! The phenomenal author of Looking for Alaska, An Abundance of Katherines, and Will Grayson, Will Grayson (with David Levithan) will be coming to Decatur!!! The following is from John's tumblr (http://fishingboatproceeds.tumblr.com...): ANNOUNCEMENT: The Tour de Nerdfighting 2012. In January of 2012, Hank and I (and the Katherine and occasionally the Yeti) will be going on tour to celebrate the publication of The Fault in Our Stars, and also because we haven’t been on tour together since 2008. These events will feature music, readings, hilarity, free posters, fancy programs, crossword puzzles, book signing, and many other things. ... For almost all events, tickets cost the price of a book. Part of the reason we’re touring is because we want to support great independent bookstores. (Incidentally, all books on tour will be BOTH signed AND hanklerfished.) Tickets are limited by the size of the venue. We'll be working with the AJC Decatur Book Festival to hold this event at Agnes Scott College's Presser Hall. This is only about five blocks from our shop and holds a lot more people. It's also a beautiful venue. Doors will open at 6 p.m. First come, first seated. This is a ticketed event. Buy one book from us, get one ticket from us. You can pre-purchase The Fault in Our Stars from Little Shop over the phone (404-373-6300). The cost of the book is $19.25 with tax. You can pick up the book starting on January 10th, or at the event on January 15th. We'll be posting additional details prior to the event. A non-hanklerfished John was here a few years ago to promote Paper Towns. That was a great event, and we're looking forward to this one that much more!
