There are two George Grossmiths,father and son. The father,illustrated here,wrote 'The Diary of a Nobody' with his brother, Weedon, (with whom he should not be combined!), and was a member of the original Savoy Opera Company. His son. G.G. Jnr,in the alternative illustration,didn't and wasn't, but was a musical comedy star in the early 20th c. Response to the above: Well, what if there are? Did G.G. Jnr write any books?
