Short biography
Joanna is a passionate fantasy and science-fiction writer (and reader). Born in Poland, she moved to the UK in 2006. Since a very young age she had two major passions - fiction and computers. Being a sensible person she chose the later as a career choice. However once a writer, always a writer, and in 2011 the Dragons Reborn (Uutta Toivoa) series was born.

But dragons aren't her only passion and so the concept for the Vampire Bytes series soon followed. The goal was to create vampires more akin to the old-school mythos - adult, ancient, powerful and with less teenage drama. All that with an urban/sci-fi background.
