Quite the charming picture book, complete with glitter snowflakes, about a young squirrel who learns a lesson regarding sharing. There is really no conflict in the book other than the squirrel misses out on some play time with his family which leaves the moral a bit flat by the end. The illustrations are wonderful and one of the main reasons I made the purchase. They bring the squirrel family to life and make for an enjoyable visual experience when reading aloud. Overall, a good book for children who might be too nubile for perilous moral tales, but who still might learn a thing or two about sharing through an illustrated story.… (more)
