Short biography
When Kirsten was born her father was disappointed that she wasn't a boy. Her first name was the one the clergyman who baptized her chose. That is - according to what she told herself - the reason why she found another first name, i.e. Alma from "Alma Mater". She was a very intelligent woman as well as a born leader of her publishing firm, Hønsetryk. Also she was a dedicated feminist, publishing several books on feminism.
