Thomas Jefferson Hogg,  a British barrister, is best known to history for his friendship with the Romantic poet Percy Bysshe Shelley.  They became friends at Oxford University, from which they were jointly expelled, and remained close until Shelley's death. Hogg's Life of Percy Bysshe Shelley was an unfinished biography.
