Hongbin Liu was born in Qing Dao, China, June 19, 1962. Liu took interest in literature, as a child he mooned over books and wrote poems and essays. Later Liu wrote the poem "Sparrow" which put his life in danger. His whereabouts are unknown now. His poetry is strong and beautiful and reflects his feelings. In my opinion he is a great poet.
