Frances Graham, daughter of a Scottish Member of Parliament and art patron, married Sir John Francis Fortescue Horner and was known as Lady Horner.  The couple had four children.  One was Lt. Edward Horner, a member of The Coterie, who was killed in World War I.   Another was Katharine Frances Horner, who married Raymond Asquith. Lady Horner was a confidante and model to Edward Burne-Jones and John Ruskin and her home was considered an inspirational centre for the Pre-Raphaelites.
